AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Day of tattoo

As soons as you get home remove any wrap from the tattoo.

Wash tattoo in warm water with a mild soap to remove any ink, blood or plasma still on the tattoo or area around it.

Pat dry.

Avoid soaking tattoo during healing process but keep as clean as possible (sleep on clean sheets, clean white cotton is best for clothes coming in contact with the tattoo).

Avoid any garmets from rubbing on tattoo.

Avoid sun exposure.

Try to keep sweat off the tattoo as much as possible.
Days 1-3

After washing tattoo and for the next three days apply THIN layer of aftercare ointment of your choice (such as tattoo goo, a and e ointment, aquaphor).

Apply with clean hands and avoid rubbing off any scabs or flakes of skin.

Ointment should be enough to cover the tattoo and leave a sheen but not so much that it will not fully absorb into the skin.

Reapply after skin has absorbed ointment.

Apply often enough to keep skin moisturized.
-
During this time tattoo may seep plazma, blood, or ink and may scab.
-
Avoid picking or knocking off any scabs on the tattoo.
Days 4+

On day 4 switch to a scent and color free lotion.

Apply thin layer so that it will all be fully absorbed by skin.

Apply as often as needed to keep moisturized while allowing it to be fully absorbed between applications.

Durring this time may scab or start to flake.

Do not pull flaking skin off tattoo, avoid knocking off any scabs from tattoo.

Allow to heal intact as long as possible.
-
Continue to avoid soaking tattoo, sun, sweat, and rubbing.

Keep as clean as possible and always apply lotion with clean hands.
